About Us From the Founder:

I founded Promo-Me HR because I truly believe that there are good, well qualified people being overlooked for the best jobs because they limit their ability during the career process, through common mistakes and errors in interviews and on resumes.

Credentials:

I have been in human resources for more than 12 years and have a passion for my work. Promo-Me HR, allows me to take the best part of HR and apply it by directly working with individuals to prepare them for the job market, through preparing their resume, providing structured interview coaching and providing an avenue of discovery through assessments. Over the years I have met some really amazing individuals who simply did not get the job offer because they made common mistakes during the interview process. Others, I am sure never even got a chance because in my world of recruiting I spend on average about 30 seconds reviewing a resume to make a determination to call an individual for a possible interview. There is so much that goes into the hiring process I want to share my expertise with those who really desire to be promoted and just have not figured out how to stand out in the massive sea of applicants and job seekers.

My background uniquely qualifies me for this endeavor. My undergraduate work is in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations and Journalism. I worked in the world of PR for several years and have the basis for applying those same skills and techniques now for clients I work with to help promote their career. In addition, my experience in HR has allowed me to interview thousands of individuals and review thousands of resumes, enabling me to provide real world relevance for those seeking a new job or seeking to be promoted in their current job.

I hold a Masters of Business Administration degree and am a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) through the Human Resource Certification Institute. But more important than that is my strong motivation to bring out the best in every person, providing coaching that is constructive, practical and aimed at truly impacting an individual�s career and life in a way to promote it to the next level.

Promo-Me HR President was invited as one of three panelists to provide expertise in Resume Critique at the Raleigh/Durham Career Fair hosted at the Radisson Hotel in Research Triangle Park. Attendance estimated at 3500 people.
